My Parent's Visit!!

My parents got to come out for a visit to meet their new grandson, catch up with June, & hang out with Aaron & I. It was SOOOOOOO much fun having them here, & June still keeps asking for her Gramma & Papa! Here are some of the fun things we did:

YAY, they're here & the Zoo:
It was so much fun looking through all of the clothes that my GREAT sisters sent for June & Logan!

The park:
One evening we all went to the park to run & play. One of the best parts was watching my Mom & Dad play teather ball! June had a blast trying out everything, but she especially loved playing with the wood chips...I will post a video of that later!

Bear World:
On Aaron's day off we went up to Bear world to see all of the animals! We got to see some BIG bears close up, & one even brushed up next to our car while we were driving through! The petting zoo, I think, was the most fun. June was pretty much running the entire time, chasing the animals (I will also post a video of this later)! We took June on some small kids rides for the first time ever while we were there. She liked the car ride, she did ok on the roller coaster, & freaked out on a spinning ride. Overall, it was a very fun day!

Logan's Blessing:
We blessed Logan on my parents last day out here. Aaron's family came up for it, too! It was really nice, & a lot of fun visiting with everyone! The Stevens & Strong families are always so much fun!
A group picture.

I loved seeing my parents, & hope to be able to see them more often if/when we move to WA! I will do a post on that later, as well!

Reed's Dairy Family Day!

We get our milk delivered to us every week from a WONDERFUL local dairy. On Saturday the dairy put on a family day with many many fun activities & good food! First we got a .25 cent turtle cheesecake ice cream cone (see video below). They have the best ice cream ever!!

Then June got to ride a horse for the first time ever! She looks really serious in the pictures, but she LOVED it (also, see video below)!

Then, we got to pet some baby farm animals! They had calves, goats & kids, & sheep. I think I was more into seeing the animals than June was. She likes the animals & did pet them, but was more interested in the bark dust & flies...

By the time we were done with all of the fun things to do we were all ready for lunch! We ate some good hamburgers in a picnic-like setting. It was such a fun day (Logan, again, slept the entire time)! Thank you Reed's Dairy for putting this on!!!

What we've been up to...

For FHE this week we took June & Logan to their first movie. We saw the movie "Up." It was so much fun to watch June's face (especially with all of the balloons in this movie-she loves balloons...A LOT)! We made it through about half of the movie, which I think is pretty good considering June is a busy, busy, BUSY 18 month old! In stark contrast to June, Logan slept the whole time.

After the movie we picked up our FHE "treat"/ our dinner from one of our favorite mexican restaurants Bajio

We took our food home because it's just easier to feed everyone at home. June really enjoys Mexican food. She is always very entertaining at dinnertime!

I finally caught one of Logan's smiles on camera!

Here is a video of Logan awake, happy, & kicking!

Here is June at the zoo last week feeding a goat. She calls the goat a "goke," as you will see in the video. She had so much fun doing this & it would probably entertain her for hours!

Other things that have happened:

*Logan slept for 5 hours straight last night (YAY!)
*There might be a possibility of us moving to the Tri-cities area in WA
*My hair is dark brown again (It's closer to my natural color. I got tired of my roots growing out too quick.)
*Aaron's brothers & his dad came up to visit & rescue the quad (but that is a whole post on it's own...Stay tuned!)
