Easter 2011

Before Church
June has been so excited to wear her Easter outfit.
I love my little lady!
***
Whenever we open the door for the kids to go out to the car Logan takes off sprinting around the cars, & June likes to chase him. I knew I only had a couple of seconds to get a pic of him!

Chocolate bunnies: we let the kids dig in to them after lunch. Logan was very serious about it, & June was giddy. Oh, & lately when June sees the camera being used she starts making funny faces! She cracks me up!!!

Easter Egg Hunt
June: She is a pro egg hunter! She had so much fun!

Logan:  He didn't really care about the eggs. He just wanted to run & play!

Reflections of Christ
I love Easter! Bunnies & eggs are fun, but I love the spirit that is brought into our home when we learn more about & focus on Christ. It brings a feeling of love & peace into my life. This is one of my favorite videos ever!

Tennis & Playground

We had a fun morning playing a little bit of tennis & then playing at a fun playground, & we had it all to ourselves!

The Great UTAH Adventure!

Yes, we got to go to Utah, but only for a few days. I think the real Great Utah Adventure will be this July when Aaron & his brothers go 4 wheeling out in the mountains in Fillmore, UT...But this last trip was great. Rob & Amanda were kind & let us stay with them, & we finally got to meet their new little guy Morgan :)

Our first morning there we got to go play at the Treehouse Museum. It was fantastically fun! Aaron & I took turns tailing each of our kids (which was totally necessary because June & logan took off sprinting in opposite directions). It as so much fun to play with them!

June
(She wore the robe & crown the entire time we were there)

After a fun morning June Logan & Mason (Rob & Amanda's other cute little guy) got to go have MORE fun with their grandma & grandpa Strong & their Aunts Julia & Nicole! While they played, Aaron, Robert, & I got to have lunch with Clayton (Rob & Aarons dad). The food & conversation were wonderful. And, to top it off I got to go to Pottery Barn & Pottery Barn Kids! I am 100% obsessed with Pottery Barn & we don't have one where we live, so I was in heaven!!! I don't think I can explain the total euphoria & giddiness I felt while I was there...Sorry, I'm a decorating nerd:)
(oh, the pic of Aaron & I in the middle of this collage is there because it looks like Aaron has a silver front tooth & I think it's funny)!

Our last day there was Sunday & we had the wonderful opportunity to see Morgan blessed. He really is a sweet little one. After that, all of the family that attended the blessing went to Rob & amanda's house for a great lunch. It was a fantastic trip & is was really nice to see everyone:) Thank you Robert & Amanda for your hospitality & Mary Ann & Brian for watching & entertaining the kids!

Spring Break!

Ok, so Spring break doesn't really apply to our little family yet because the kids are not in school & there is no "Spring Break" from parenting:)
BUT
it does apply to my parents who teach & coach tennis at Washougal High school! So they came to our side of the mountains in search of rest & sunshine. Well, it rained the first couple of days they were here & between the hyper Stevens' buddies & Kinect Sports I'm not sure how much rest they got! We absolutely LOVED having them come stay. And, their last day here it did get sunny!

Cousin!

My cousin Talia & her family live only around an hour away from us & we finally got to hang out! She & her adorable little girlies came to play for a while, & then Talia got to go to Aaron's office for a dental appointment!! It was so fun to talk & play, & those girls are seriously cute!! I'm sad I didn't take more pics:( Oh well, next time!
