Logan's Birthday

We celebrated Logan's birthday, as a family, a few days early so that we could go to the car show that was in town AND go see the new Cars 2 movie. If you haven't guessed, Logan LOVES cars, & I think he had a fun birthday. The night before I decorated the house & set out his presents & balloons. And Aaron had a brilliant idea of also blocking the kids doors with streamers! It was very fun when they woke up:) We did presents right away & let Logan play for a while.

Next was the car show. Logan & Aaron probably could've stayed for hours! It was really hard for the kids not to touch all of the shiny cars. But it was fun. We had a wonderful lunch at PF Changs, & went home for cake & ice cream (Junie helped me make the cake the day before).

After a nap we went to Cars 2. The kids enjoyed the movie.....for almost an hour, but then got restless. Logan was wiggly & we decided to go when June threw a handful of popcorn & my bracelet at the people behind us! I was so embarrassed I didn't even try to find my bracelet...

Soooooo, I am finally catching up on my blogging! I hate getting behind! We've been both busy & sick this past month, but I could've found time to blog, but I didn't.......... But now, I am done with my vacation from blogging, so here it is (& I know EVERYONE has been just dying to read about my life!).

Robert & Amanda (Aaron's brother & his wife), their cute boys, & Amanda's two awesome sisters (Lydia & Savannah) came to visit. We had a great time, as usual! I loved getting to know Amanda's sisters better, & they are just as much fun as Amanda!!! Oh, & Lydia brought her CUTE daughter, Paige, too, & Lets just say it was very obvious that Logan had a crush on her (very cute & funny)!

Silverwood Park

So, it turns out that there is an awesome theme/ water park about 3.5 hours from where we live (near Couer d'alene, ID). We took a trip there one weekend, loved it, & bought season passes, so we will be spending much of our summer there!

Hike

Aaron & I decided to go hiking on a day date a couple of weeks ago. Less than 10 min from our house is Badger Mountain. It's not huge, & the hike (to the top of the mountain & back down) only took 1.5 hours. However, I am so out of shape that I was extremely sore the next day!!! It hurt to get out of bed! But we had a great time. I LOVE being outside. Especially when I'm with Aaron! Sometimes I wonder if we're going to buy a few acres & become hillbillies (it would be like Scarlett O'hara going back to Tara). Anyway, after our hike we were starving, so we went to Olive Garden (AMAZING). That was one of my favorite dates (hint, hint, Aaron).
