Fun times, spring cleaning, & being sick...

We had a really great Memorial weekend! Aaron had a 5 day weekend for the holiday and it was SO nice to be able to spend so much time with him!! Despite of us ALL having the flu we managed to get some work done around the house, see some friends, and have a little fun!

I don't know wether it's because of being at the end of the pregnancy & wanting to nest, or if it's because I've been watching the show "Clean House" a lot, or if I just got the normal Spring-cleaning bug, but I've been going NUTS cleaning, & organizing our house! With the wonderful (& much appreciated) help of Aaron & June we've cleaned out every room, closet, & drawer in the house, organized the chaos in our basement (& finally put away our Christmas tree! HAHA!), got our sprinklers going, planted a -very- small garden, weeded & fertilized our flower beds & lawn, & took 3 big trips to D.I.!!!! It feels so great to have a de-cluttered house!
(Here is June working outside with us learning how to get a drink from the hose!)

We also spent a good bit of time riding the 4 wheeler around the neighborhood. June loves it & calls it a car!

On our last day of Aaron's time off we took a day trip to a very pretty area (only 45 min. away) called Hicie (not sure on the spelling..). It's such a fun area with mountains, lots of trees & streams, quad trails, & the Snake River is there, too! This was only a short trip, but we had fun playing by a stream, having a picnic in the back of the Suburban, & going on a short hike. We plan on going back & camping there as soon as we can work it out!!

Here are a couple of videos! One is June splashing in the hose water in our yard, & the other is us on our little day trip eating lunch!

What a CUTE family you are!! Sorry to hear about the flu bug getting to you guys, but glad it's over before Clayton comes! June is so adorable, Lexi and I could watch movies of her all day!

And maybe it's a pregnancy thing, because I"ve gotten the spring cleaning bug too--and it feels so gooooooooood to get rid of stuff and actually know where things are! :) LOL Anyway, you look fabulous as you always do Britt-and I'm getting so anxious to meet baby CLayton and see how awesome June is going to be playing the big sister role! XOXO
