My family is awesome!

We had the opportunity to visit my family in the beginning of April. Aaron had a dental conference in Portland (which is very close to where my family lives), so we all tagged along & had a great time seeing everyone!!

Staying with the Christman's
Kennady & June
(AKA Benny & Joon)
It is always so much fun staying with the Christman (& Briggs) family! They are such great hosts, & June absolutely LOVES seeing her cousins! Darcy had so many fun things for them to do: play with sidewalk chalk & bubble guns, shaving cream & food coloring in the BIG bathtub, a movie night with Haley*Kennady*Owen*June, & Kennady was so nice & shared all of her toys with June & Logan!! We had a great time. AND Darcy & Lyle were so nice & stayed with the kids one night so Aaron & I could go on a date :) Thank you Christmans! Love you guys!

Angies Birthday!
We got to celebrate Angie's birthday while we were in town. Last year was a big year for Ang because she was diagnosed with Lymphoma, went through Chemotherapy & BEAT IT!!!!
We played some games, ate some food, had cake, & enjoyed each others company (we missed you Brian)!!

The Pinecone Queen
Junie loves to collect things, & she has always had a thing about pinecones. And, while we were playing outside in my parents very beautiful yard I think June picked up just about every pinecone on their 5 acres! She was so excited about them & kept saying,"Mommy look!"
& ,"Daddy look!" While showing us the MANY pinecones she'd collected. She also showed & counted them with her grandpa Balholm:)

More Fun Outside
June wasn't the only one who has a great time playing outside at my parents house! My dad, Uncle Terry, Nate, & I played Bocci Ball(Aaron & my mom were so nice & watched the kids so I could play). I really love that game & I want to get a set of Bocci Balls so we can play at our house. We threw around a football, and Aaron & my dad got to play some tennis.

On the Tennis Court
While Aaron & my dad played tennis my mom showed June their stash of tennis balls. She got to work reorganizing them into the seat of a ride on toy. Oh, & she found more pinecones on the tennis court...

Random
The top two pics are of the kids at the mall. June Owyn, & Kennady got to go for a ride in a toy Ice Cream Truck, while Logan was just giddy being in the stroller!

The Two lower pics are us at Eric's soccer game! Logan liked hanging out with his grandpa Balholm. The other pic is of Lucky Day, Dusty Bottoms, & Ned Nederlander...

We can't wait to visit you all again!

P-S I can't tell you enough how much we're still enjoying the Foof. However it's really due for a good cleaning-did you guys ever take the "foof" out and clean it? How do I go about this much needed chore???

P-P-S And your comment with Aaron saying Scooby doo DID make me laugh out loud. I think because I can picture him saying it--and maybe because I also have two glasses of Diet Cherry Pepsi (the caffine version down)-and it's past my bedtime! Anyway, it made me miss you guys and reminded me about how grateful I am for blog world!!

XOXO
Have I commented enough yet?!? Sorry for the rambling!!

I LOVE your pics! So cute and so pretty! That looks like such a blast. I'm so glad June's got so many fun cousins to hang out with! I'm glad Mason and Logan are close in age so they can be buds (if we ever get together-haha!).
