I decided to start a new family tradition this year. We are doing "The 25 Days of Christmas!" I got us a countdown calendar, & every day (starting today) we get to open a little door & get a treat & a note telling us which special christmas activity to do.

We were going to take some of the cookies to Aaron's work, but I slightly overdid the cookies & kind of botched the frosting! So we kept them in house. Luckily, the kids arn't too picky!

The Christmas Countdown is the BEST!! I don't know why I haven't started this tradition before!! :) I'm excited to see all the future fun activities await you in all the doors!! I love that--where did you get that little door block? I want one! I think making the chain thing every year just might get tiring!! :) LOL
Those cookies look delicious and oh so yummy!!! Maybe since Lexi can't read yet I might move that activity up a day or two! LOL Those kiddos are too cute for words--the cleaning up picture is a favorite!! XOXO
I saw that advent calendar on the Target website but theyr were sold out so I bought a different one. Have fun!
FUN! You are the funnest mom ever! I'll have to look into getting one of those for next year when Mason can appreciate it more. Right now I don't think he still quite gets the concept of Christmas...although he has tried to open the presents under the tree already. And I LOVE the cookies! Those look so good and I can't see how you botched them???
